BTEC IN SPORT
Students normally follow the BTEC Level 3 in Sport route as part of this pathway, although courses in Motor Vehicle, Nail and Beauty, Administration, Gym Instructor, and Construction are also available for students. The educational element is delivered by our partner company LifeSkills, an Ofsted graded ‘good’ company, Investor in People Gold, IAG accredited and recently achieved a 94% score in the government student satisfaction survey.
Attendance is 16 hours per week over a four-day period on the education programme. The football is tailored around the education programme.

The course is delivered in a vocational manner, with assessments ranging from written reports, portfolios and posters to verbal assessments, presentations, and practical observations.
During the first-year, students will study the BTEC 90 Credit Diploma, which on successful completion will enable them to progress onto the BTEC Extended Diploma in year two.
Upon successful completion of the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma, students will have the equivalent of three A levels. The course not only serves as a route to full time employment, it is also a proven progression route to Higher Education, such as University and degree level.
Students must hold a valid UK, EU or EEA passport and have the right to residency and study in the UK. Students must turn 16 prior to August the 1st and must not have turned 19 until after the 31st of August 2020.
